Steemit for Content Creators | #ep27 | you miss our if you don't go to steemfest yearly! :)

every year steem has a little mini festival -- in 2016 the event took place in november in amsterdam and one hundred people were in attendance, in 2017 just recently from when i posted this post steemfest2 happened in lisbon portugal and i was lucky to attend that one, my first steemfest with well over 300 people in attendance -- do you see the growth curve here? :)

it was amazing, so many different styles of people from different backgrounds, different countries all with an amazing story to bring with them and talk about steemit, cryptocurrency, life, love and everything in between, i've never been to such a well organized, thought provoking and compassionate group of people in the same space.

one of the things i loved about it is that we had to pay for our tickets in steem, you had a level of what you could afford and you paid for your ticket in that fashion - all food, drink and transportation was covered in that price which was quite staggering to say the least, it really felt that the platform, the startup, the people behind the scenes had your back, it was like an afterparty at sxsw (austin, texas) each year but for three days, the super cold beers life at the snooker halls was a highlight! :)

the st33m amplify project is an effort to bring vloggers, content creators, youtubers and to bring in general the bloggers of the world into steem and show them they can add steemit to their income streams and have a more open, ad-free experience and share the wealth of their own successes over here on the platform instead of a centralized blog that currently pays them little adsense or nothing at all.
