Dtube needs a little time...
This entry is more of an introduction to Steemit than an introduction to travelvids.
But it goes both ways.
First encounters: steemit
We are fairly new to Steemit still (like really new actually) but definitely see it being part of the future big players when it comes to content platforms. Everything about the Steemit architecture is right, but it's an unfinished building. The foundation is in place but it's missing the trimmings. To put it bluntly, it's not the prettiest block out there, but it doesn't look like it's gonna fall down any time soon. As with all good things it will take time and more support to improve things like the search function. We are happy to still be able to call ourselves early adopters and proud steemit supporters. It's good to be here.
Dtube needs a little time still.... I guess
Everything I just said, can be repeated about Dtube. All of our content (over 200 videos in this last year) are at home in YouTube still. Nothing against YouTube as such (well read my intro blog about Google and you will get the picture) but i was looking for a "new" space to share our video content and search lead me to Dtube which in turn introduced me to steemit.
I was trying to upload my first DTube video today and it seems to have failed. I think the infrastructure needs a little more upgrading like being able to see the progress of the upload. Today a 100mb video just loaded for hours and hours. I tried a few times but something is not right.
Im not giving up on Dtube, but im going to continue to keep posting using my YouTube cannel for now. I guess Dtube just needs a little more time to work out some bugs.
This is Travelvids
If this is the first first time you stumbled onto us, welcome... We usually write about making videos, travel video to be precise. We offer free tips and tricks to help people get started as vloggers and video content creators. We want to teach people how to make videos with whatever they have, even if it's only a phone. We believe that the best camera is the the one you have on you. Here is a little more about the type of video ethics and style of our teaching. Please enjoy.
Travel safe. Steem on
