Ich erkläre wie sich Ripple und Stellar von anderen Blockchains unterscheiden. Im Gegensatz zu anderen Blockchains liegt hier nicht im Speichern von Wert in der eigenen Kryptowährung sondern im Abwickeln von Zahlungen in beliegen anderen Währungen. Ripple und Stellar versuchen nicht vertrauensfrei zu sein wie etwa Bitcoin oder Ethereum sondern wollen vielmehr ein Rahmenwerk sein um Vertrauen zu koordinieren.
