Canoeing on the Gariep River - DTUBE video

So last year we did an overland safari in Africa from Victoria falls down to Cape Town over 23 days.
One of our campsites was right next to the Gariep river in Cape Town.
We had just spent the last week and a half in the Namibian desert so to see green grass and running water was amazing!.
We set up our tents then hit the river for a swim. Then we got the opportunity to do some canoeing.
It sure was a lot of fun!
We got picked up from our campsite then drove up stream for a while, then spent about 2 hours canoeing down the river back to our campsite.
A couple of beers and a stop for a swim made for a great canoeing experience haha
It sure was another great day on this overland safari!
