Thai/Myanmar 1149 border road - a comparison

A comparison video of the fantastic R1149 border road in Northern Thailand.

The road was resurfaced in recent years.

As you can see, there is quite a difference between how it looked previously and how it is today.

October 2015 was my first time to ride the route and I was a new rider on a manual bike, so I was quite nervous at the time!

I shall hopefully get around to doing another comparison video of the Wat Chan route to Pai (Thailand) compared to how it is today as well (again, completely resurfaced road now), but at the time was under construction.
