Dukan Diet in Weight Loss
Dukan diet is one of the popular ways to lose fats fast. This effective weight loss diet was created by a French Doctor Pierre Dukan which provides all those people who would want to lose fats fast a long-term sensible strategy to maintain your figure.
Dukan diet is a unique strategy to lose weight. It allows you to eat your favorite food while losing fats at the same time. This has four stages which will help you achieve your lose weight goals by burning your fats fast. Let us, then, dig in to the various phases of Dukan diet in weight loss.
The Attack Phase
This first phase encourages everyone to stick to protein diet. You can get this by eating fish, shrimp, lean meats and etc. However, these foods will never be palatable without any seasonings or herbs. With this, Dukan diet never prohibits you to use them to have a flavorful real food on your lose weight diet. You can use herbs as well as non-fructose sweeteners to season your food.
Furthermore, the dukan diet menu discourages you to eat high fat protein and dairy products. Eggs in the same way can also be prohibited depending on your cholesterol level. If this is your main concern then you have to limit eating the egg yolk. Yet, the egg white can be enjoyed eating in the attack phase. This is a good source of lean protein which the Dukan diet advises to maintain the protein diet for 2 to 10 days.
The Cruise Phase
During the attack phase, you will lose pounds of weight. After maintaining the protein diet up to 10 days, you can start using the cruise phase which allows you to include vegetables on your fat loss diet. Dukan has a long list of approved vegetables that you can eat on alternating days. This means that today you will maintain that protein diet and on the next day you can include vegetables in your weight loss menu. Maintain the second phase until you observe that you have lost pounds of weight.
Consolidation Process
The consolidation phase allows you to add your favorite food in the Dukan diet. However, you have to be conscious of the amount of food to eat so as not to defeat the purpose of your weight loss diet. Such caution will help you maintain what you have achieved from the previous phases. Furthermore, consolidation phase can be maintained depending on the pounds you have shed on the previous phase. In this way, you will never incur massive weight in maintaining this phase.
Stabilization Phase
With the strict diet that you will encounter in the previous phases, the stabilization phase allows you to eat as you wish. Again, be conscious of the amount of food that you will be eating. You have to limit yourself so as to maintain what you have achieved in your weight loss goals. This freedom to eat is done for six days. On the seventh day, however, you have to seriously follow the first phase which is the attack phase. This means that you will only do this one day in every week of which you have to go back on lean protein diet.
From the different phases that you will undergo, Dukan diet gives you the advantage of eating “real” food after shedding pounds of weight. This makes dukan diet unique in weight loss.
