Peppermint the Healing Herb
The word for Peppermint in many if not all Native American languages means, translated, "the good herb" or "the healing herb". It's properties have a wide range of uses medicinally and therapeutically. It is the "go to" for stomach upset. Here's an article and picture about Peppermint that I found which goes into much more detail.
"While other mints are great for teas and may provide some of the same benefits, peppermint is more versatile and easiest to find. It has been used for thousands of years for its antiviral, antibacterial, and antifungal properties. While there are truly many uses of peppermint as a healer..."

"The Peppermint Legend
According to ancient Greek legend, Pluto — the god who reigned over the underworld — became enraptured by a nymph named Menthe, causing his wife, Proserpina, to turn the young beauty into an herb and banish her forever to regions of shadows and moisture. And — like most such tales — the myth still has relevance today: This perennial, peppermint (Mentha piperita ), is often found growing wild in wet, shaded spots but it will also thrive in your own garden or window box."

We have plans to plant peppermint all around the dog kennels as it is great to keep bugs away, it smells great, and we can harvest it in the fall. Once you get peppermint established it is hard to get rid of. It will take over if you let it. A very hardy plant.
"Peppermint is not only a great essential oil to mix with others, but you can put a few drops into your favorite homemade spray cleaners and spritz the mixture on areas that need antibacterial attention, like bathrooms and kitchens. Peppermint also acts as a natural pest deterrent. That’s awesome considering it doesn’t harm people or pets."

If you haven't tried peppermint as a boost to your health we highly suggest it. Organically grown and being in harmony with the planet makes a big difference as to the karmic or otherwise spiritual frequency of the plants. In turn this comes back to you as you eat it or drink it as tea. This is a deliberation that will be wonderful to see happen with more and more of us as we move forward in human evolution.
Most likely we will find that most health issues will be resolved by looking at the origin of our food and how it was treated, prepared, and grown. It makes a lot of sense to begin looking at how nutrient dense our food is and not only if it was grown organically. Of course if parts of humanity treats other parts of itself like a commodity then this fractals out to treating other life forms as commodities as well. This is where the family virtue comes in. If every life form began to be viewed as a unique member of a big family then humanity will find its place in the web of life and discontinue efforts to subdue or otherwise conquer it all.
How will we work together and in harmony with all the other life forms on the planet, and what does that look like?
Mint is relaxing and the body only heals in a relaxed state.
