ECAF change of leadership announcement

in #ecaf6 years ago (edited)

Effective 3rd December 2018, the EOS Core Arbitration Forum (ECAF) is pleased to announce that Ben Gates will assume the role of Interim Administrator. Ben holds an LL.B degree in Law and has completed the Legal Practice Course. He has worked in a variety of business and executive roles and is currently an ECAF Interim Arbitrator.

Moti Tabulo will step down as Interim Administrator of the ECAF. This is in keeping with his prior commitment to helm ECAF for a period of 6 months (from the beginning of June).

“I’m very excited for ECAF’s future”, says Ben. “We are a few steps into building the first blockchain dispute resolution function for the world's first governed blockchain. I am excited to further ECAF’s efforts to better serve the EOS community.”

Moti will transition to a part-time role within ECAF. He will continue to support Ben and the ECAF team whilst contributing to case management, transparency and support infrastructure.

“Working on ECAF since launch has been an epic journey”, says Moti. “Going from an unfunded, bootstrapped body to saving over 3 million EOS (and counting!) and working with an engaged team who have been willing to volunteer their efforts to date has been very fulfilling. I look forward to helping Ben transition into his new role.”
