Solar eclipse experiment

I have been waiting to do this for age. For me, apart from art, anything that has a connection with the outer space is really overwhelming.

In my mind, it is impossible to balance an oval shape object especially an egg which has the white egg and the yolk that keep on moving even with a small vibration. I never try to do that on any other day...except just waiting for the perfect day during previous solar eclipse for maximum effect. This was the beginning..one egg.

This experiment was done during the maximum eclipse. My pupils and I arranged another more eggs on the cement floor, hoping that the eggs would get the maximum effect since they were direct under the sky where the moon was in eclipse stage.

We also tried on a very flat surface on that special day because it effect the stability of the eggs.

Pheww! This was amazing Science experiment.
