Due to lack of technical knowledge and low income, low standard of living and lack of technical education centers in the country, workers in underdeveloped countries are not able to acquire technical knowledge. As a result, the economic development of underdeveloped countries is hampered by the lack of skilled workers and technical experts.
Dependence on foreign trade and underdeveloped countries are highly dependent on foreign trade. These countries export a handful of agricultural products and import huge quantities of industrial and capital goods. As a result, the balance of foreign trade is unfavorable and it continues to grow.
Underdeveloped production system and production system of the period of blindness is prevalent in underdeveloped countries. Production is very low due to lack of capital, lack of education and training of workers, underdeveloped irrigation system etc.
Political instability and political stability are prerequisites for development. But in underdeveloped countries, instead of political stability, political instability often exists. Domestic and foreign investors lose interest due to political instability. As a result, development of these countries is not possible.

Poor economic infrastructure and another characteristic of underdeveloped countries is weak economic infrastructure. The transportation system of these countries is very underdeveloped. Moreover, in underdeveloped countries, water, electricity, health, education, etc. are very inadequate.
One of the characteristics of backwardness in industry and underdeveloped country is backwardness in industry. The pace of industrialization in underdeveloped countries is very slow due to lack of necessary capital, skilled workers, creative entrepreneurs, machinery, parts etc. Therefore, the contribution of industry to the national income of these countries is very low compared to developed countries.
Due to the fact that a large population of underdeveloped countries are illiterate, the people of the country are destined and superstitious. As a result, they cannot be realistic and are distracted from many public welfare activities.
