Also don't forget they also dropped the price too limit the oil income of ISIS. Remember that the terror group captured several oilfields scattered in Iraq and is still using those to fund their group.
I also heard that the Saudi royal family are also using this exact tactic to shut down US oil production that are dependent on fracking.
The Saudis are the allies of the United States. So this is just propaganda in my opinion that there is competition between Saudi Arabia and the US Frackers. I think Saudi Arabia has more than enough money if they just signed a deal with Trump to buy arms for more than 100'000'000'000 USD. And ISIS is anyway funded by Saudi Arabia, United States and Israel. Russia and Iran are actually the only one who really fight ISIS. ISIS is funded by the west to destabilize the Assad Regime because they want to bulid a pipeline through Syria but Assad didn't let it happen. Genie Energy where a Rothschild, Chaney, Rupert Murdoch and Lawrence Summers are on the advisory board are already drilling in the Golan Hights.
Unfortunatelly I think you totally fell for the western mainstream theories which doesn't make any sense at all.
