Enhanced community quarantine of a stranded -PH

I just wanna share my experience of being a stranded here in Taguig City, Philippines.

I studied in Manila and Taguig is where my dad and his second wife lived. Well actually, I lived in my mom's condominium unit, a studio type (this is not what you're thinking of, ain't fancy one). Back to the story, I arrived here on the first week of March for our graduation pictorial and graduation marching which supposedly on April 18 and the pictorial on second week of March.

Surprisingly, there was an announcement of lockdown in Metro Manila which started on May 16 and I nevermind because I got appointments and etc. I expected it to resume as soon as possible but my bad, it wasn't.

Today, I am stranded and in home quarantine for months now. I am homesick. I miss my babies in Zamboanga City so much and also my husband.

Since I am alone in the unit, it is so boring that all I can do now is surf the internet the whole day. I can't even eat properly because of worriness. My sleeping routine has changed too. Before, I sleep at 11pm but now maybe from 4am to 8am. It also cause break-outs in my faces, I grew some mini bumps and pimples in my face too. I feel so weak maybe because of being homesick and please this is not Corona virus (haha!) I know the signs and symptoms of it and I am taking vitamin supplements everyday for stronger immune system. But it is my heart and mind that is not stronger, I miss them badly.

Everyday, I woke up at around 4 oclock in the afternoon. I drink coffee and biscuits only, these were donated by our barangay as a relief goods for people here in Maharlika Village, Taguig City. I take my lunch/dinner at around 7-8 pm and the most usual thing I eat is maggi curry, a malaysian noodles and my favorite! I mixed it with an egg. I drink plenty of water about 2-3 liters per day. And at night, at 2-3 am I usually drink coffee, black coffee specifically. I don't know if it just me, I get sleepy everytime I drink it. And sometimes, I do binge-eating which can destroy my diet for I am on a diet now (haha!)

I received almost 4x of relief goods here from the barangay. But the "ayuda" or the money that shouls be given to every filipino, the money that has been promised by the government to support the filipinos daily lives while in a quarantine is not even possible in here. Maybe some has received theirs but mostly, were not and I am one of them. According to the Mayor of the city and President Duterte, in every family should be given a money worth of 8,000 pesos.

Just yesterday, the quarantine in the Philippines has extended for another 15 days. It is Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine now. It is just so sad that some of the people in the Philippines, especially in NCR are hard-headed and undisciplined. That's why the cases in here never drops and still continue to increase each day. I hope this will end.

Stay safe everyone.
