EDUCATION IS THE KEY

Emenike determines to give up schooling, in favour of tradition. He never thought of the problems he might face in the business world for not having adequate education, because his father Mr. Okafor knows the importance of education and some of the great dangers every illiterate is certain to pass through.
He pleads with his son to first recieve education before jumping into business. the advice fell on emenike's deaf ears.perhaps he got the illustration that an illiterate can prosper in any business. His mother supported him while his sisters was on her father's side.
As if to prove the idiom that "what one sows one harvests right", not quite long after emenike had gone with chief okoye to serve him in port harcourt, he began to face a line of illiteracy and it dawned on him that illiteracy is a disease.
He could not even hear and introduce himself in English. One day, a man was beaten up by some armed robbers, everybody that was there was arrested by the police including. Others defended themselves but emenike couldn't defend himself because if his illiteracy.he was locked up in the police cell where he spent some days.
Remembering his father's advice and his present condition, he began to shed tears.
Later, his brother chief okey came and bailed him. He was quite fortunate, it has not been late. He went to his father and pleaded for forgiveness and his determination to go back to school.
