Supporting educational efforts: Education in a Suitcase

The Education in a Suitcase project is run by a non-profit organisation of the same name. Its purpose is to increase educational opportunities in low-income regions of the world through the use of donated technology. By doing this properly the project uses only state-of-the art software and hardware which provides the opportunities of Europe to rural areas in Africa.

The reason for the name is that all of the material for one school will fit into hand-luggage. The picture shows the entire set of tablets and servers brought to two locations in 2017. British Airways has a sizeable hand-luggage allowance and this just fits!
