An indigo child is one who shows a new and unusual series of psychological attributes with a pattern of behavior not yet documented. This pattern has common and unique factors that suggest those who interact with children (parents in particular) that they must change the way they are treated and raised in order to achieve a proper balance. To ignore these new behavior patterns is to create potential imbalance and great frustration in the minds of these precious new lives.

There are several classes of Indigo Children, but some of the most common behavior patterns are given in the following list:

They come to this world with a feeling of royalty (and often behave that way).
They have the feeling of "deserving to be here" and are surprised when others do not share that.
Self-esteem is not a big concern for indigo children. They often tell their parents "who they are."
They have difficulty accepting absolute authority without explanation and without alternative.
They simply will not do certain things; For example: waiting in a row is very difficult for them.
They get frustrated with ritual systems that don't require creative thinking.
They often find better ways of doing things, both at home and at school, which makes them look rebellious, unhappy with any system.
They seem antisocial unless they are among children of their same class. If there are no others with a similar level of consciousness, they often become introverted, feeling that no human being understands them. School is often very difficult for them from the social point of view.
They are not shy when it comes to expressing to you what they need. They will not respond to the discipline of "guilt" ("expect your father to come home and find out what you have done").
