RE: Blockchains and Universal Basic Income!

in #education6 years ago

In the most of the cases, any argument against the UBI forgot a really important thing.
The basic idea came from the taxation, and governemt's income redistribution, but very soon has arrived another thing: the economic system using our lifespace, everyone's lifespace, and they have to pay for it, for us.

And next to all of popular or ridiculous concern, this is the ultimate reason, why need the UBI:

The economy using our lifespace. This planet owned by each single human being, and the resources also owned by each of them. And the companies are coming, and using our soil, our water, our air, and they pay for it for governements, not for the people. In a good country its not a big deal, because the government spend this money for the people, but we know, there are not so much good country on the planet.

I have to breath the polluted air, i have to drink the contaminated and cleaned water, i have to eat the food, what growing in a contaminated soil, i have to hear the noise of traffic and producing. Who will pay for me, for it?

For me it doesnt seems to great deal, destroy our and my childrens planet for a "growing economy", what means actually a new iphone or a new car, what booth are a really, really basic needs, as we see lately in any media...

We are in 2019. Its definitely the time, to reconsiderating the price of things, and redistribute the assets.

This right here is so true! Just look at India and most African countries, big companies build their factories there and pollute their rivers and air 24/7, and who gets most of the money? The government, which keeps it and doesn't help the country's population.

I say so many bad things about Portugal (my country) but at least I feel safe, I feel happy, I have everything that I need, I have running clear water, sometimes they desinfect the water to much though and I get some minor rashes, but I get it, it's to prevent diseases and mosquitos. My country does both, my governors keep some of the money but also help the population... (they still need to fix the summer fires issue though).

I wonder if in the future with space exploration and colonization we will just stop having money and live in a galaxy of abundance... With higher education humans would stop wasting so much, at least I hope so...

"in the future with space exploration and colonization we will just stop having money and live in a galaxy of abundance... With higher education humans would stop wasting so much"

Actually right now we are living in the galaxy of abundance, but we sell our resources for a little money, and a second level life-quality, because this is convenient, and doesnt need responsibility.

And the wasting... what education do you mean? Every men know, wasting things is a bad behavior, and wasting things equal the wasting money. All of them know this.
They just making other decisions, and follow other behavior, because most of the people are stupid.

Education is nothing, if the people doesnt choose the right acting.

A large portion of the older people don't care about that, but if you go look at the younger generation we are more and more aware of the problem and choose to waste as little as possible, recycling, etc...

Older people require not only the education to know of the huge consequences of bad waste disposal but also require the willpower to do something against that bad waste disposal.

Knowing that throwing garbage to the floor and polluting the rivers is bad is one thing, but knowing why is bad is another whole thing... Kids nowadays have knowledge about this, I have family members who are MDs that had no idea that plastics can cause cancer, had no idea of what microplastics were, had no idea about many facts regarding pollution and waste disposal, and we are talking about MDs from a developed country... and they aren't alone, I see a lot of older people without any knowledge or willpower to do good enviromental decisions.

The world belongs to the younger generation!
