The longest river in the world

The Amazon is one of the largest rivers in the world. The river originates from the summit of the Nevada Mis‌mi in the Andes Mountains of Peru, South America. Its length is about 6400 km. And the width is 10 kilometers in some places. However, during the flood, the width of the Amazon exceeded 30 kilometers.

Surrounding this river is the Amazon Forest, the world's No. 1 natural wonder. The Amazon River flows through Brazil, Venezuela, Bolivia, Colombia, and Ecuador in South America. And the world's largest forest of the same name Amazon spread to a total of 8 countries, including those 5 countries.

About 60 percent of the vast Amazon jungle falls in Brazil. There are 9 indigenous tribes living in this forest.
