ADNOC FLEX Pay a fee or follow 4 easy steps to fill up yourself at UAE petrol stations

Do you still want someone to fill up gasoline for your car in a gasoline station here in UAE? Well, now It’s going to cost you some extra money.

Stopping by in a petrol station and letting a staff from the station fill up your gas tank for you, I belive is part of the services provided by the station for the convenience of the costumers and motorists. But maybe it looks like we will soon need to pay to have our vehicles refueled by an attendant or else learn to refuel our own car to save spending money. Well, at least I’m learning how to fill up my own gas in a petrol station. Just be careful in refilling coz in my experience, the second time refilling my own gas, I experience nearing the nozzle of the gas tank while filling up and I did not noticed inhaling the gas coming from the tank, and it hurt my throat and lungs. So if you are a commuter like me and you are refilling your car, be careful.

The company started launching the system which they call ADNOC FLEX. A new system that offers customers self-service option to fill up their cars by themselves. If you wish to do it the old fashion way where you pull up to the pump and have someone fill up for you, this is now classified as “Premium” service and will have an additional fee.

What is ADNOC Flex?

A new customer-centric approach giving greater choice of fueling services.

ADNOC Flex is designed to offer more choices than ever before by enhancing the ways in which customers can refuel at their service stations.
They are offering three ways to fuel:

1. A Premium service, for a small fee
2. A Self Serve option, allowing to fuel own vehicle
3. MyStation: Petrol and LPG delivered directly to customers.

Alongside this, staff at service stations have received additional training. Seeing an increase in attendants to ensure an uplift in overall experience.

How to Self Serve

I myself was feeling nervous on my first ever refueling, after that, I felt it was easy. Let me share to you easy steps on refueling your car.

There are 4 easy ways to remember in fueling in Adnoc Station.

Staff are on hand if there are any questions. Gloves are available upon request also.

1. STOP

Switch off engine

Children and pets must remain inside vehicle

Touch static discharge pad for 2 seconds

2 . AUTHORIZE

If paying with Bank Card:
Select ‘Payment method’ on screen, Follow on-screen instructions.

If paying with Cash:
Call cashier to confirm amount

3 . FUEL

Select desired nozzle

Flip lever on pump upwards

Insert nozzle into fuel tank, Squeeze trigger to begin fueling.

Hold nozzle throughout. Fueling will stop when complete.

Return nozzle

4 . PAY

If paying with a bank card:
Your card will be charged when fueling is complete.
Please take receipt If paying with cash, call cashier to settle.

Now this are the 4 easy steps on refueling in Adnoc Stations. So the next time you go to refuel you car, you will be confident and it will be easy as 1, 2, 3, 4.
