in #eidul-fitar8 months ago

Hi, everyone today I am going to introduce one of the important ceremonies of the religion Islam. This ceremony is known as Eid-ul-Fitar or Choti Eid (Small Eid). It is a ceremony that is celebrated Annually i.e. once a year. This ceremony is celebrated as a reward from Allah for all the good well performed in the Islamic month of Ramadan. In the month of Ramadan, all Muslims are with Fast and offer prayer, recite the holy Quran, etc and Eid-ul-Fitar is a reward for all these struggles. Eid-ul-Fitar means Eid of Fitar. i.e. this Eid, the people give Fitrana(A sum of money or Goods or Food materials) as Sadqa also known as Sarsaya thanks to Allah for properly performing the duties of Ramadan month.
Eid ul Fitr is celebrated on First Shawal. On this day the Muslims take a bath cut their nails wear new clothes and shoes use perfume and go to the mosque to offer the prayer of Eid and hear the Khutba of Small Eid. After doing this they meet with one another and give congrats to one another. After that, they start Balane(Visits to neighbors and relatives) to give congrats. When they visit neighbors or relatives they are served with special dishes specially prepared on this day.
