Summary of SLC22/WK1: Advanced Electrical Transformers and the Power Factor.

Steemian Friends,
Today, I will provide the summary report for Week 01 of Steemit Learning Challenge 22. In Week 01, I discussed Advanced Electrical Transformers and Power Factors. After reading the lesson, sixteen students wrote homework. After reading everyone's homework, I realized that everyone tried to learn about transformers. Since I have to declare four homework winners, I have selected the four homework below by looking at the top scores.

Homework observation summary

The students found some mistakes in reading each homework. For example, the company name of the transformer is Energypack. Transformers are called step-up or step-down, power or distribution transformers, etc. When working as an electrician, you must see and name a transformer. I have pointed out the mistakes in the review.

An experienced electrical engineer or technician should calculate the electrical load and prepare the transformer specification for the customer. The electrical load is in KW, and the transformer rating is in KVA. You need to convert from KW load to KVA and select the transformer. This is very important electrical work, so the electrical load cannot be supplied with that transformer if you make a mistake. Remember that a transformer can be used at 80% electrical load.

Laziness has been observed in drawing transformers in most of the homework. You will learn more about transformers when you draw and describe them yourself. By copying the picture of my homework, you have written a description of some homework, which has not increased the beauty of the homework.

Thanks, everyone, for trying to learn. If you improve in some areas, you will be successful in electrical work in the industrial sector. My future lessons will be more educational. Those students who could not be in the top four attend the next classes and try to stay in the top four while learning.

I advise everyone again to increase the beauty of homework in addition to learning, then you will be successful. Create eye-catching homework. No one will be upset. Good luck to all.

Best Regards,
Industrial Electrical Instructor

Hi,@mahadisalim
I have mentioned earlier that your posts are mostly accurate, but there were a few minor mistakes. My goal is not to criticize, but to help improve and learn from these challenges. Steemit is a platform for learning and growth, so please don’t take any of my feedback as criticism. Thank you for your understanding and continued efforts!
