The price of electricity is rising

The price of the price is rising. For general consumers, an average of 5 percent will increase. But wholesale prices will not increase.

Prices will increase in the case of poor customers (life line). But the minimum bills they had to pay so long would not be there. Delivering a minimum charge will benefit about 3 million poor subscribers. And for the seven lakh Lifetime customers, the price of electricity will be slightly increased.

The reasons for the increase in the wholesale case, the government will provide subsidies there. There will be a subsidy of Rs 3600 crore annually. Electricity costs are considered as wholesale prices.

The Energy Regulatory Commission is going to announce this Wednesday.
