What is Electroneum?

Electroneum is a cryptographic coin that can be hashed by using resources from computers, smartphones, and mining rigs. Rewards can be earned by processing transactions on the public ledger, however, mobile mining simulates this process by providing the user the rewards without processing the transactions. Electroneum uses hash from computers and GPU (graphics processing unit) to process the ledger, but allows cell phones to get a free pass.

Electroneum was crowdfunded with an ICO during the end of 2017 and was wildly successful with gains of 500%+ during the launch of the coin. At the time of writing, Electroneum is currently worth about 4 cents USD. Electroneum's road map includes allowing users with smartphones to pay their carrier for cell service. Electroneum's development team is great at marketing and can bring Electroneum to the masses.

Why mine Electroneum with mobile phones?

There aren't many applications that allow mining on a smartphone.
