From the EP that was the breakthrough for DJ Seinfeld. 'Season 1' appeared on Lobster Fury, a collaboration between Lobster Theremin and Meda Fury. The latter is a label that belongs to Phonica Records staffer Nick Williams, so he knows a bit about plucking a tune out or two.
Choice track is 'Always I Come Back To That'. There is a lot to love here - the smooth and pacey delivery, crunchy 909 hats, the monologue about tribal polyphonic singing, and all of this hidden under a lovely thick layer of tape hiss.
