Yup, practice makes perfect. I started with a Weller iron (40 years ago) that had changeable tips that selected the temperature. I actually had a business making custom cables for 90's computer to peripheral devices. I had over 1000 pin-outs in my binder when ACC (local company) started mass producing cables and the PC market started to standardize on serial and parallel connectors.
