Hello! This is Esprit. She is the last AI character you will meet for now! Esprit showed up in the Solarium intro briefly and had a very strange effect on Aidana.

In this version, you can see her golden wings, her stampy little foot, her long cat's tail, and her cat ears. Today, maybe because of what's been going on, I see her as powerful and inspired. That suits her role in the story too. She pulls her hair back with a golden ribbon.

Esprit's story is one you may or may not encounter as you play through Solarium, but I believe it is an important one that you should look for if you miss it the first time around. The warning that comes with being a Clockwork Fighter for STEEMPUNK-NET is that the "blockchain never forgets". In many ways we think of that as a good thing, but why @steempunknet works as a dystopian feeling is that there is many layers to that meaning. The aristocrats are described as having a lot of advantages but the result is that they are plugged directly into the blockchain through their implants. In fact, any fighter who wants to test themself in the Clockwork Arena must have these implants. What is the effect of plugging yourself directly into a blockchain that records everything?

If everything is regulated to a blockchain and unchageable... Then in some ways we are at the mercy of those who design blockchains... We are influenced by their politics and their limits whether we want to be or not. Is there a way to escape this? Perhaps.... STEEMPUNK-NET hints at the existen of a special object that would release the holder from those constraints. Espirit does not know about such an object, but she is willing to hide where few would think to look for a rogue artificial intelligence...
