Apps Depop &Let Go, Getting a grip on impulsive buying #16

These days I'm always keeping up with the apps and ways I make extra money, legally. I’ve been using Ibotta, Depop, and Let Go a lot! I've been using my DIY light box to take quality photos of things the things I have been selling. Clear photos give potential buyers a realistic look at the actual condition of the items.

I've added quite a few things! Posting items can be tedious so I post once every couple of days. Posting every couple of days can be beneficial as well. You won't spam your followers’ feeds and it can help you keep a steady flow of items to post.

I've also got my eye on a couple things I do not need. And that's another issue that I may address soon. Oh the dreaded impulsive buy. 🤦‍♀️

I learned about Depop through YouTube. I found it after searching for ways to make extra money. Depop's interface is very similar to Instagram but with tools for shipping and user help. When and if I find the YouTuber that recommended Depop, I will add her name to this post :) So far I have made ~$32 on Depop. That’s not a whole lot but it’s something. The app also makes selling very convenient. All the items I have sold have been shipped to different states for $4 or less. You are paid through PayPal and It costs 25 cents to transfer from PayPal to a bank account if that’s what you want to do.

LetGo has helped me clean my closet and put extra cash in my pockets. I mainly sell to people near me because the app is not set up for long distance sales. So far, I have made $102 dollars by parting with small items I no longer have use for.

Since my 40/hr per week internship begins in January, I intend on investing in a flea market booth on the weekends.

Now if I could just save more money, make better financial decisions, and learn to trade the bitcoins I’m holding I’d be in better shape. Can you believe I financed a Kirby in August? Would anyone like to take it off my hands? Lol 😭
