I'm excited! But keep in mind that Musk also likes to over promise to challenge himself and his team. I can see it being possible, but bringing it to a large scale is another question. Are there any traditional car manufacturers who might want to lobby against this?
Good question. I don't think lobbying against it will help. There seems to be too great of an incentive for it not to happen, although some unforeseen obstacles could appear until it finally reaches the mass market.
