RE: Elon Musk: The Unedited, Uncensored Version of My Rolling Stone Cover Story

in #elonmusk7 years ago

Omg... @neilstrauss is it really you? Thé Neil Strauss? "The Game" Neil Strauss? Well if so, then it's an honor to meet you... A few years ago, that book of yours changed my life.

At first the "Mystery" character (looking funny, using cheap card tricks, doing drugs, gaming women like they're robots) almost made me close the book and shred it to pieces, yet I continued reading it all and then started to interpret its meaning differently, in an almost holistic way: I concluded that the core take-away of "The Game" is that I should always be me 100% at 100% of the time in 100% of situations, where Mystery is Mystery. I'm sorry so many "male pick-up artist communities" formed underground, not getting that core take-away and copying literally every trick from the book. You probably didn't want that.

I never had problems meeting women, yet I read your book getting notified about it from some stranger guy that talked to me in the middle of the night in a bar when I was celebrating my (next-day) birthday with some friends that already wandered off being drunk, while three days before that I ended my relationship that lasted for almost 9 years and I was suddenly in unknown territories. "Read The Game" he said smiling, then walked away with a nice looking female, that I dated the week after, and over 100 more in 4 years after that.

But that's not the end of the story, because through a strange coincidence I both met a wonderful woman I'm with for over 3 years now, and at the same time a couple of former business partners of mine went rogue behind my back causing all sorts of stress situations, and I also read up about Elon Musk's story via waitbutwhy.com. I got so fascinated by the Elon story, his revolutionary ideas, giving away patents to the entire car industry not to make Tesla wealthier but so that the whole world would drive on electricity using any automobile brand, and about SpaceX, and about Neuralink, and OpenAI, and his mission to save humanity, that I talked to people close to me about it, passionately, making them think that I went nuts, them stating to me "the world is not ready for these ideas of yours" (where I only tried to give a summary of Elon's endeavors). I even got intro trouble once more, only talking about it, and by being me. (I think I need to re-read The Game..).

Yesterday, when I saw this article trending, about Elon, I instantly resteemd it before reading it, as my personal bookmark, only to realize today that YOU are YOU. Is that a coincidence? A cosmic thing? Or a simple matter of media power, where it's almost impossible to miss at Steemit? Anyway, I just had to write this.

Question: I read somewhere the past weeks that Musk once owned a few BTC, but lost access to it, and never cared about it. Is that true, and if so then why? How can it be possible that "the world's most Rad Man" doesn't know about / care for crypto? How can he not see its relevance?
Personally, I'm not 100% for decentralization, because I believe any human community / organization needs some form of leadership to function efficiently. And I'm not against fiat or paying taxes either. But I am PRO crypto, as a relatively new asset class, combining tech, privacy, independence, freedom and unlimited opportunity. And I am PRO Steem, I'm very active for @utopian-io , the Open Source sub-community of Steem, trying to improve and 'sanitize' the entire Steem ecosystem for the greater good, trying to help make it ready for mass-adoption. Although perhaps the world is not ready for that either...?

In any case, again, it's an honor to meet you, I really hope you read this message.

Thx, your pupil @scipio

@neilstrauss ,what an impact you make on Steemit. @scipio I really hope you have the chance to meet in real life. Your dedication, passion is awesome.

Meeting in person would be much effective for you guys (y)
Goooo FOR IT @iarticle

Funny thing is that Elon musk is a huge fan of Dogecoin.

https://www.poof.io/dogecoin

Dogecoin payment gateways like Poof are hilariously popular.

Especially when people sell stuff on Stores like on https://www.poof.io/ecommerce for doge.

@neilstrauss Yes you are right, he does share striking articles

@neilstrauss , if you know Elon Musk, then introduce @scipio to him. I talk to @scipio at Discord chat, and I genuinely think the man is a genius. I really do. @scipio is extremely smart, kind, a good person, an engineer and a strategist himself. And he has ideas, technically so advanced, I'm sure Musk WANTS to meet @scipio. Just read his article How-to solve SPAM and Democratize Steem: Introducing UserAuthority to get an idea what Scipio can do. He published that after 3 weeks on Steemit. He's only here since 60 days, like I am myself.

@umais, this is the coolest compliment somebody ever gave me. Thank you.
It would actually be a dream come true for me, if I could ever talk to, let alone work with Elon Musk...

Merry Christmas

You deserve this and I hope you can make it

Cheers!

It would be a great idea indeed, please try to arrange a meeting :)

So when is the meeting happening?

WHAT A GREAT ARTICLE, feels like I'm reading a NEWSPAPER. I didn't know that there are such LONG articles on @Steemit (I'm new here by the way, just joined today) :)

Agree!:)

There's always the possibility of the leader being corrupt.
