Piece of me

Hey Steemers! My name is Maria Elizabeth. But please, call me Liz. I am new to the steem world, as well as new to blogging in its entirety. I come to you from the beautiful Northern California Tri-County region. Like the real NorCal; where 3 hours West you're on the Mendocino coast, 3 hours East in the Sierra Nevadas, and a few hours North in Weed - NorCal.
I am 30 years old, married, and a dog momma. I have a mischievous German Shepherd named Loki (see what I did there), and a wee little Daschund/Yorkie mix named Harley. Quite opposite on the size scale but they are the best of pals. Oh, we also have 6 chickens, and more fresh eggs than we can keep up with! I work full time in a cubicle wasteland doing data entry. Its the typical overworked/underpaid kind of job. Definitely not a career! In fact I left my career in the medical field - story for another time. But together with my current job, I am a homemaker, runner, yogini, crochet fanatic wifey. PHEW!
I have joined steemit to simply connect and share my insight on interests and hobbies with like minded folks. I might be all over the place with blog posts based on whatever experience it is I want to share - but my focus is on empowerment, encouragement and uplifting and creativeness.
