Oil and gas is a multi-Billion dollar industry, energy from from bio-organisms that had decomposed over the millenia are now fuelling our cars, heat our homes and pay for our likelyhood; that is from an oil worker point of view.

The truth is, renewable energy is good but still relatively expensive more than crude oil and it's derivatives.

One of the largest oil discoveries ever made in Norway is the Giant Sverdrup Reservior. Situated on the continental shelf, one of the most suprising discoveries for Geologist and scientist around the globe.

After several dry wells were drilled in the 1960s and 1970s, the area was considered to have no potential crude oil deposits. That assertion had been debunked as the Johan Sverdrup development is one of the most inportant Norwegian industrial projects over the next 80 years.

The first drulling operations and production is expected to kick start in 2019.
