As for the recent changes to season2, I'm extremely very excited about it because it will motivate a lot of users to work extra hard.
But I also have some suggestions... In season1, there were some Contests that needed a lot of time and finance to carry them out. We should all know that they are a lot of struggling Steemians in here, this means that it will be difficult for them to participate in such contents most especially as votes are not always guaranteed to cover up the expenses in such expensive contest. So I suggest contests should be launched in a way people will not have to spend money before participating in them.... This is my humble suggestion
Season1 was indeed outstanding and I'm glad I was able to participate in all contests. I have also learned alot during this period by engaging my self in a lot of articles and this made me to meet a lot of new buddies
Highly anticipating for season2 and hoping to improve on my engagement activities during this season2 challenge
I would just like to add that there is some elements of FAVORITISM among other communities with exception of the SCA. You will see a well published article will get graded and a lot of comments yet no upvote or encouragement, yet a well known user with high reputation and a lot of SP would publish an article not well written or with small effort put in and you will see massive upvotes this user will get. Please I am not saying it’s done intentionally or selectively, I am simply asking that every article in every community is given a fair shot as the SCA does as we all know votes are not guaranteed but some are getting it every week while some don’t get at all, the whole point is to increase engagements across all communities . Although I was not able to participate this season but I am always going around checking communities and hence this is my OBSERVATIONI look forward to joining in the new season

I still can't get your point here... Do you know that VOTES WHERE NEVER GUARANTEED?. Now talking about ENCOURAGEMENT... please what do you mean by this statement. I believe that everyone that participated in all the challenges right from day-1 will attest that he/she has received upvotes/encouragement from either sc01 or sc02.. so I don't understand which encouragement you are talking about and who should give the type of encouragement
Based on my understanding, I can say you have gotten everything wrong, my brother. Votes were distributed according to #club status and the quality of the content. So I believe you have miss-understood the whole thing here
You weren't even participating during season1 so I don't think you may understand how it went.
I participated in season1 starting from day1 up to the last day which was day-28. Due to this, I can say I have understood so many happenings during this period and it was pretty cool because all the participating communities indeed work extremely very hard.. my only problem which I earlier stated was the only issue of how some Contests were very difficult to participate by a lot of many users simply because it required us to spend money before participating in such contests which to be me was not good because it scared away a lot of Steemians

And cause I didn’t participate doesn’t necessarily mean I don’t perceive things, 3rdly I didn’t say Favoritism is deliberately done. If so then you should have given your own feedbacks and observations by replying to the updated article not under my own comment because we both are simply talking about different observations. As simple as that

Most users in question are either in club50, 75 or 100. Every one in Steemit knows that is a requirement to some extent

I totally agree with you that spending before the writing the article is financially tough on people.
Doing away with selfies and social media is my suggestion. Lots of Steemians are not happy to participate in these challenges where this is required.
Is the goal after all not to get maximum participation?

We pray for a positive feedback on this because I have a lot of friends who didn't partake in some Contests as a result of not financially fit to participate in them
