In these times, we can think that there are fewer people willing to take care of a pet and all the expenses involved. What do recent studies tell us about it?
Sadly, every year, when summer comes and the time of travel, we see the same scene: dogs or cats strolling the streets, abandoned, or at worst by the roadside gutters. But we can not say that the crisis has intensified this trend, although it has become somewhat gradual throughout the year.
However, it is curious to note that services dedicated specifically to pets have not been depleted. The newspaper Elperiódico.com, for example, recently contributed a significant number: only in the city of Logroño, Spain, there are about 13,000 pets that are known. Faced with such a number, it should not be surprising that hairdressing, the sale of animals, etc. have proliferated.
Attention to luxury, a new fashion
There is even a tendency opposite to what we might think by inertia: far from spending less on care for their pets, there are people who decide to dump all their efforts in them and provide care that we would like many for us.
