The trailer of the new part of "American Pie" hit today's news. Some guys complain that "the next movie franchise will be spoiled by forcibly squeezing women into them," which I don't agree with. Let me start by saying that when it comes to "American Pie" only parts 1 through 3 were good comedies. they were genuinely fun in their time. I like that sense of humor, a lot of other people too. However, I cannot say the same about the next episodes, which were definitely weaker and sloppy. There have been better and worse ones, but they are generally loose films that can be watched once to relax or pass the time, and the second screening is remarkably not funny. I am waiting for this part only for one reason, though not, actually several, all of them have a common denominator - I wonder if the creators or authors will actually be consistent and show women-losers who want to score a guy, as it was in "male "versions. It will be extremely funny how hardcore feminists get pissed off about sexist portrayals of women who, beware because it will be a shock to some - they like sex as much as men. You know, some more, some less, some at all, but it's the same with men. I hope it evokes the right emotions, watching this butthurt can be much more fun than the movie itself :).

The program of the "DC FanDome" event has been revealed. It will be a 24-hour event where we will get information about upcoming animations, films, and games. There will also be various thematic panels, incl. about "Aquaman", "Wonder Woman 1984", "The Suicide Squad", "The Batman", the animated production "Deathstroke: Knights & Dragon", Snyder Cut, Flash, Shazam. There will also be the premiere of the animated film "Superman: Man of Tomorrow". The full program and trailers for both of the above-mentioned fairy tales can be found below.

Well, I hope that this time the Batman trauma will not be as generic, boring, and repetitive as in the works of Nolan or Snyder. I've seen pictures like this too many times and it would be nice if they definitely changed them this time.

The second season of "The Boys" will start in just over two weeks. We have known for some time that the adaptation of the popular comic will also see a third. Jensen Ackles (known, among others, from such movies and series as "My Bloody Valentine", "Smallville", "Supernatural" or "Batman: Under the Red Hood", in which he voiced Jason Todd) announced on his Instagram that he will play the role of a superhero. We do not know more details yet. As for the first season, I will most likely watch it when the second season ends. Maybe around November, when there will be a bit more free time.

Apple bought the distribution rights to an as-yet-unnamed movie directed by Simon Kinberg (director of "X-Men: Dark Phoenix" and the TV series "The Twilight Zone", producer of many superhero images that belonged to Fox and "Chappie", "The Martian", "Star Wars Rebels"). I'm not sure if the Apple Corporation made the right decision when you look at the reviews of the last part of "X-Men", but it's not my money, so also not my problem. The film itself is to be a spy-romantic thriller with an atmosphere similar to "Mr and Mrs. Smith". The starring role will be played by the acclaimed Idris Elba, who starred m.i.n in "Pacific Rim", "Hobbs & Shaw", some episodes of the Marvel Cinematic Universe series, he will also be seen in "The Suicide Squad" by James Gunn.

Staying in the atmosphere of super-heroic productions, perhaps the chances of "Spawn" returning to the cinema have increased. Or should I say "debut"? Because the first approach to adapting this comic was so weak that it probably hit VHS right away. No matter if you are 25-35 years old, you probably saw a hero with his iconic cape at least once. When I was a kid and a teenager, I loved his edgy design and Todd McFarlane's line, but according to various comics-savvy people (who have read them seriously and don't remember nostalgia through pink glasses), they're hopeless. However, you can use just the sketch of an idea and run the movie in a slightly different way than Todd in the comic. It is enough to find a director with the right vision, who has a good idea, destroys what is unnecessary and properly presents what has been achieved. I keep my fingers crossed, hope it succeeds, because I would love to see Spawn on the big screen, preferably with the age category +18.

The Creative Director of Insomniac Games has responded to various player concerns that have arisen with the announcement of the game. According to him, the product with Miles Morales is a full story and a development of a plot that started in their previous game with the Spider Man. He compared it to "Uncharted: Lost Legacy" and "Wolfenstein: The Old Blood. We will see after the premiere how much this is true and how much marketing bullshit."

Good news for fans of the "Star Wars" brand and lovers of Lego-style production. On November 17, this year, a special episode will hit the Disney + streaming platform, where we will see all our favorite droids and Rey, Finn, Poe, Chewie, and Ros. I will rather not watch it, because while I liked the movie with Batman, I watched it mainly because I saw my close friend with my young son. While I would like to play with Lego blocks, even today, productions made in this convention are so-so for me. Not my vibe.

Netflix will prepare a document about a lawyer who dealt with cases of victims of police violence. By the way, I wonder if the film will be focused exclusively on the BLM community, or will it also tell about victims of different skin color. Contrary to what some say, it is not just black people who are victims of US law. Laws that have been established, inter alia, by this community and the victims in the form of police officers. My point is that the police have the right to shoot people who leave their cars and fight with them - many policemen have died as a result.

Studio Blumhouse is going through perhaps the best period of its short life. I wish them that this state will last as long as possible because they deserve many good productions. Let them not go to their heads and lose their ability to create new images.
