This Official Zelda-Themed Wireless Controller Is Only $25 At Amazon For Black Friday
The Legend of Zelda fans can score a pretty sweet deal on a wireless Nintendo Switch controller themed around the iconic action-adventure series. As part of Amazon's Black Friday Sale, PowerA's Legend of Zelda: Sworn Protector Bluetooth Controller is discounted to only $25, which is the best price yet for the $45 controller.

Officially licensed by Nintendo, the Sworn Protector controller design is themed around Link's best-known weapons. The Hylian Shield and Master Sword from Ocarina of Time are emblazoned on the left grip. The off-white base color is accented by blue face buttons and triggers that match Link's shield. The red Hylian Crest in the center of the controller is a nice touch.
As for its technical features, the controller has two back buttons that can be remapped on the fly, which is a nice perk, especially in this price range. Since it connects via Bluetooth, you can also use it on PC and mobile devices. The controller does have an unusual quirk, though: It's powered by AA batteries. Your first pair is included, and you should get roughly 30 hours of playtime before you need to swap them out. Plus, you could always opt for rechargeable batteries, such as this Energizer kit with four batteries included for only $15 (50% off).
Third-party Switch controllers don't have NFC readers for Amiibo or HD rumble--this controller lacks rumble altogether. And while some PowerA Switch controllers have motion controls, this one does not.
If you want all of those features, you'll need to opt for Nintendo's Switch Pro Controller, which is on sale for $50 at multiple major retailers as part of Nintendo's official Black Friday deals. The Pro Controller is almost never discounted from its $70 price, so this best-ever deal is worth considering, too. You can also grab a pair of Neon Red and Blue Joy-Con Controllers for $60, down from $80.
