Fallout creator Tim Cain wins his first ever gaming industry award
For those who know the original Fallout series, the name Tim Cain should ring a few bells. The creator of Fallout recieved a Reboot Develop Hero award, his first ever gaming industry award. For "unrivaled achievements" and his contributions to the gaming community, he was awarded during the Reboot Develop 2017 this summer, in a small, but popular town called Dubrovnik (Croatia), as reported by DubrovnikGG, a local gaming news site.
Cain got up on stage smiling and simply said: "Unbelievable, this is the only award I ever got. Thanks Reboot and thank you all very much."
Maybe a first award, but well deserved.
Can't believe this is all he got. I'm not a massive fan of fallout. I love stuff Limbo, Portal, Undertale, The Beginner's Guide etc. But Fallout creator is someone who had a massive impact on the gaming world. He deserves much much more.
