Two of the most skilled high paid big mouth fighters in the fighting industry go head to head on August, 26th at T-Mobile arena in Las Vegas. This is a fight all mma and boxing fans maybe even the whole fighting industry all together has been waiting for. We thought it would never happen but the two are set to fight August and a fight that I think is going to set world records in the pay per view pay out.

I myself am part Irish and follow the UFC more than I do boxing and know Mcgregor is a capable fighter but im going to have to give the prediction to Mayweather for this one. Mcgregor is a well trained fighter and im sure will be prepared for the fight but I just dont see him winning a stand up boxing match with Mayweather.

Lets start with cardio UFC fighters are only aloud to fight at most five, five minute rounds as boxing matches can go up to twelve, three minute rounds. As we all know Mayweather uses his defense speed and footwork as an advantage dancing around with most good fighters. Mcgregor does have an exotic fighting style that I dont believe Mayweather is use to. Mcgregor is more of a head up fighter I see him trying to keep the fight going taking more punches and underestimating Mayweathers speed and ability to keep that same momentum through out the fight.

You got to put in consideration that Mayweather has fought many great fighters and is one of the best in his time. We all know he is capable of beating fighters I believe have way better stand up than Mcgregor. Also Mayweathers experience Mayweather has had 49 professional fights in his career, as of Conor Mcgregor has only 24. Mayweather might have more years over Conor but he's shown that he can keep that consistent all around skill in every fight. It would be an embarrassment if Mayweather lost in his own profession so I give the prediction to Mayweather. Nice layout in your article, but from my stand point, I have a very hard time seeing McGregor beating Floyd outside of a lucky Punch. Some of the best that boxing had to offer/has to offer, world champions who've been boxing since they were children, we're unable to best and out point Floyd Mayweather. Inside the boxing ring McGregor doesn't have one iota of the skill and experience compared to Mayweather's previous opponents, I find it difficult in seeing McGregor land any clean punches on Mayweather.

The guys Connor McGregor has been beating and it has made him look amazing and spectacular, none of those guys hold a candle to anyone Floyd's been in the ring with, boxing wise. McGregor has fast hands, a longer reach, and a solid straight left hand punch, but inside the boxing ring his style he has his chin up and out, and leaves himself wide open for counters, especially for a guy like Floyd. McGregor has a punchers chance, but he is fighting the most patient boxer in recent history, he will not sucker Mayweather into fighting his fight like he does his MMA opponents. I would expect Mayweather to potshot McGregor into frustration and then catching them with a big shot when it opens up for a knockout in the eighth or ninth round, that's my prediction.

Low chance in my opinion. Even at 40 Mayweather is too fast for McGregor. And they're fighting his rules. If it were MMA then McGregor would totally own Mayweather.

I seen this on Facebook the other day.
