"Entrepreneur" a different ballgame

Life was easy nice and smooth with 17 years of IT experience, working for good company with good salary. Well that is when I thought of knowing everything and felt confident to think about doing something different. Business was not in my blood but the urge and passion to make a difference was always there.

My friend told me boss you need to think 100 times before you take the plunge and the reply from my side was "Yes we can"
There you go nothing could stopped me I became an Entrepreneur too, with a group of people who were excellent technically.

The early days was exiting, challenging and lots to learn, from a point of old technology stack, were looking into the latest things and it gave a buzz. The moto for us was why spent hours thinking of process but Live, Learn and Love Agile , a mindset that really helped.

Focussed on the service market our aim was to get revenue and slowly build platforms for our solutions. All was going hunky dory but then came the issue a major customer pulling out due to their internal issue. Not a big deal we were confident to pull it out , but the numbers were not adding up. We pulled in loans from friends and family to manage it. We were sitting across table starting to discuss what we need to do differently. Ideas were thick and fast and marketing team was trying to adopt new ways.

Quickly we realise well our basic problem was cash flow and not the dearth of projects. At this point we started to pitch for smaller projects, thereby distracting the team from end goal. It was a management vs team battle and something that didn't go well. We started to look for support from banks but then every day we were living on credit. The problem was well we were too much concerned on the day to day affairs, that our focus on the wider goal was missed. People started to move out and things were not looking bright.

I remembered what my friend said and probably thought 100 time every day but never regretted my decision. Think well yes we failed and we need to boot strap again, true the mission is difficult but never impossible, plus believe in the unique selling point of failure as a stepping stone to success.

This time we are more focussed clear set of goals, a plan to achieve it , start lean and scale as we go, building visibility on the techno space, look into developing solutions, blend your ears to the wider world to see well what would make business. Never be reactive but look into a proactive strategy and "Yes we would be successful"

"Awake Arise and Stop not till the goal is reached"
