Using Smart Contract can change the decentralized feature of Blockchain?
Hi, it's Eric again. The other day, one of my friends told me that he read a news which said that a famous company’s blockchain technician could use the smart contract to “change” the decentralized feature of Blockchain. In such a situation, a government could interfere the blockchain by using a special admin account to send “special command” to one node. And then the government could execute some pre-set intervention on a special final user account.
I was very surprised and then checked that article. Then I could not help smiling.
There are three types of chains- public chain, alliance chain and private chain. That article did not tell its readers that it was belong to alliance chain.
The alliance chain leaves a backdoor for regulators who can view private data. By the way, viewing and editing are completely different. The purpose of that “special command” plays regulatory requirement function. In the alliance chain, each person’s account is supervised and a copy of the private key is in the hands of the regulator. Hence, if you use an alliance chain, you shall have the awareness that your individual account may be controlled when necessary.
If you want a completely “decentralized” feature of blockchain, you need a public chain. And a blockchain operating system like EcoBall can generate a public chain by one click only.
A good news is that our testing version is going to release prior to the road-map schedule. Doesn’t it mean that EcoBall have a strong technical development team? ^_^ Guys, have a nice weekend!
