stable coin on EOS
we all know BM announced he is planning for REX, there we can pool our resources and Dapps which are needed for resource can get it from that pool. by pooling our EOS token, we can earn the rent on those resources in the form of EOS. but there is a side effect on this, if I launch a Dapp based on this concept once demand picked up, the cost of paying rent get increased and for any reason if the amount of staked tokens removed, this will hurt the Dapp developer very hard. instead, if we create stablecoin like eUSD(eosdollar) on it and who ever pledge(stake) for long term to REX, they can avail this stable coin in a ratio of for every 100$ worth of EOS will get 25$ worth of eUSD tokens. this will create huge incentives for community as well as investors of REX and the people who are renting.
I will try to give a bigger picture of it. lets say my project has enough funding for cpu,net and ram but I dont have enough funding for human resources, other office infrastructure and marketing. then I can simply stake the tokens and get eUSD. lets say I staked 1million EOS, for this I will get cheaper CPU,net,RAM and I will get 2million eUSD(considering eos at 8$) which is exactly equal to 2million $. you may ask who will buy our eUSD, any exchange can immediately list eusd on there exchange. at present around 300 million eos are staked in eos blockchain. if REX is implemented with stablecoin concept I guess it will reach to 400 million eos. that means around 800 million eusd can be minted in a snap. this 800 million eusd is a game changer for investors, community and Dapp developers as well. And any exchange is happy to list our eUSD, its a huge liquidity.
There are endless possible use cases, I just gave 1 good example. Think of it and comment your opinion.
