EOS Core team to have another Go / No Go voting on Friday 0100 UTC
I just dropped off from the recent EOS Core team call. Here's a quick recap of what has been discussed and agreed on.
Summary
- due to some last minute changes in the Governance doc (article #9) made by B1, the BPCs have to review the changes now before taking any other action
- next call to discuss the changes is scheduled 1300 UTC, Thursday
- after they review and are happy with the changes – another GO / NO GO call is expected to take place on Friday, 0100 UTC
They are now meeting every 24 hours to discuss the situation in a ZOOM meeting online. The updates include test results, any last minute changes and fixes to review. I have to say the whole team is pretty focused, determined and effective in their efforts. You can also check for current status with a countdown on EMLG website.

A group of BPCs (Block Producer Candidates) trying to launch a/the mainnet. Right now this seems to be the only group of BPCs that can actually launch the blockchain and start accepting votes in the network.
