Thanks for sharing this piece. I think chainbb is moving in the right direction because as a content consumer, I find steemit too overwhelming for now, and harder to build a close-knitted community revolving a topic. I think it might be a good idea to pitch the steem-powered-forum idea to existing forums around the world that has great content, but struggle to monetize.
