Here I'have just translated for youn guys an article that I found on a french website this afternoon.
As you may all know, the EOS ERC20 we bought will become in the near future, the fist of june to be accurate, EOS 1.0.
What then ?
There are many rumors... Apparently some of us should change our EOS tokens but not the others? What does that mean? In concrete terms, what should we do? Fortunately this article explains all this very clearly :) Good reading everyone !

On June 2, EOS will officially launch its brand new MainNet. Announced as revolutionary by its creators, this new platform should make transactions on the new blockchain cheaper, faster and more secure. However, these are only the most basic facets of what is supposed to become EOSIO 1.0: still according to its creators, this MainNet is more or less supposed to become the equivalent for Ethereum of what Windows 10 is to its integrated calculator.

A considerable infatuation has developed around this new architecture developed by the Hong Kong company Block.one, one of whose flagship functions is the horizontal and vertical scalability of decentralized applications (DApps). Rob Jesudason, CFO of Commonwealth Bank in Australia, even resigned to join Block.one's board of directors!

Another clear sign of this craze: the spectacular rise of the EOS token. Although its value has fallen significantly since 29 April, it appears to be back on the rise and is expected to continue to rise as the launch date of EOSIO 1.0 approaches.

However, the migration to this promising new network also means that all EOS ERC20 tokens circulating on the Ethereum network and which have not been exchanged by June 1, 2018 at 23:59:59 UTC will be irreversibly frozen and will lose all value.

The following marketplaces have already announced that their respective platforms will accompany this transition and handle all technical aspects of the swap:

For the ones who need to do this swap all by themselves, I'll post later this evening or tomorrow a video link showing you how to do so :)

Have a nice evening guys !!

As long as you have your Etheruem address registered with the smart contract on Eth network, the tokens will be 'transferred' for you and more importantly you will receive all the airdrops that are currently happening. Most exchanges will honor the mainnet swap but NOT the airdrops.

Here is a link on how to use the exodus wallet with a 1-click registration process.

Nice info. Do you know is exodus will honor the airdrop? Cheers

Absolutely, I registered my tokens with exodus before the eosdac airdrop and I received with with no issues.

Awesome. Cheers mate.
