HowTo watch EOS tokens in Metamask Wallet and HowTo transfer to an Exchange

Watch Tokens in MetaMask

Open MetaMask and click on the Tokens Tab and then on the (+)-Sign and add

1.) For the field named token address, enter 0x86fa049857e0209aa7d9e616f7eb3b3b78ecfdb0
2.) For the field named Token Symbol enter EOS
3.) For the field named Decimals enter 18

Now you should see the Tokens you have claimed already.

Transfer Tokens from MetaMask to MyEtherWallet

To send to another Ether Address or Exchange you can do that from the EOS distribution Web App. You click on transfer and enter the amount and the recepient address. MetaMask should open. You are likely to need some GAS in your MetaMask wallet.

A final word of advise

I highly recommend using My Ether Waller for all transactions with EOS. It is highly intuitive, has the best tutorial coverage and is 5 Gazillion Times Faster than the crappy EOS Distribution App and the Buggy MetaMask which sometimes just don't respond for hours. MAW FTW once again!
