- Check everything. Make sure to really examine every object inside the room and throughly inspect the items to understand if they have more use than originally meets the eye.
- If you don't know what to do a good place to start is to double check and make sure you've found everything in the room. There are some rooms where if you're missing the vital piece it will really slow your group down.
- Work together - you'll either be playing with strangers or in your own group. Make sure to communicate effectively with your team. One of the keys to success is good teamwork.
- Have fun and don't get frustrated. The puzzles are designed to challenge your way of thinking and may not be readily apparent. Don't give up and do your best to have a positive attitude.
- Sort the clues. Many clues will have matching symbols to let you know that they are the same pieces of the puzzle or they go to a specific lock.
