E-Sports is Real!

The news of Riot Games changing the e-sports world is huge! To get a team on the league is a $10 million buy in now, where it used to be $1 million less than two years ago. The ten teams that make it into the league will be franchises just like what is seen in the soccer world.

There is going to be ways in which teams and prospective owners can buy in using a sort of payment plan option. One thing is for sure, if the numbers in terms of unique viewers, 36 million (2015) 46 million (2016), has any influence on things to come it will be a huge opportunity. Imagine being able to get in on a MLB team as a part owner! Gaming is here to stay and we have years of numbers to prove that the interest has been there. Especially with the way Twitch and other streaming services rose. I cannot wait to see how this turns out. I mean even the players have their own association.

Maybe I should start working a talent agency now while its in the beginning stage. Get something like "Ballers" going!
