Jibannagar Police Station OC Mahmudur Rahman's three-month briefing

In three months of joining the Jibanagar police station, the officer-in-charge
Mahmudur Rahman succeeded with special operation in the police station and the
force. In the face of massive police action in the last three months there has
not been any such incident in the upazila or any other robbery. Drug
trafficking and other criminals, including the servant, have been established
in the face of police operation. Police recovered large quantities of Yaba,
alcohol, cannabis and phensidyl in the last three months of operations.
Meanwhile, the accused have been arrested with record number of cases filed.
On Wednesday evening, at the office of the Thana In-charge office, the
journalists sought cooperation of the OC to keep this continuation of success.
During the briefing, OC said, after joining the police station on April 25, he
took initiatives to suppress the crime including jihad declaration against the
drug. On the directives of the Chuadanga Superintendent of Police, during the
special operation with police officers and the force, he recovered 2,760
bottles of Phensidyl, 1,293 pieces of Yaba, 3 kg of cannabis, 30 liters of
alcohol and 31 liters of alcohol in the last three months. At the time, 82
people were arrested in the drug case and 64 cases have been filed against
them. In addition, in the GR case, 94 were arrested, 112 cases in the CR case,
3 convicted, 6 in the mobile court and 117 in different cases were arrested.
At that time, 76 cases were filed in the absence of papers for checking
motorcycles and vehicles. During the briefing, the OC told reporters that the
police's operation will continue. He said that I have heard that some of the
members of the police are trying to loot facilities. They are advised to avoid
this and serve the people. Those who do not do this will be recommended to
take legal action against them.
