There Is a team of curators that look at all the eSteem posts and select the ones that are good enough to receive an esteem vote. If a curator votes on your post the other eSteem votes will follow.
Curators look at all the posts and tell good karma's bot which ones to vote for. Curators won't choose to tell the bot to vote on posts that do not have at least 50 words. Having 2 photos or more in each post is good, too!
