Steem-blockchain requires a set of people to create blocks and uses a consensus mechanism called DPOS. The community elects 'witnesses' to act as the network's block producers and governance body. There're 20full-time witnesses, producing a block every 63-second round. A 21st-position is shared by the backup witnesses, who are scheduled proportionally to the amount of stake-weighted community approval they have.
Thanks for this wonderful contest for all @euronation, and I really appreciate your effort in supporting newbies, no doubt you are a leader. The roles of witness cannot be over emphasis by any means in the steemit blockchain as we all know because:
They help and ensure that any change made are good for steem and steem users. I think we should vote for them, for without them, our post will remain idel, and there will no be us...
Also, Witness try all their possible best to makes sure the blockchain is available by running web servers.
So far, I've voted for the following witness below.
Witness play a main role in steemit blockchain. They give life to our posts.
Steemit.com is a social blogging platform powered by a decentralized blockchain called Steem. The Steem blockchain produces blocks in 63-second rounds: 21 blocks per round at a target of 3 seconds between blocks. A decentralized blockchain needs a varied set of people running computers to create these blocks. There are many solutions to this, and Steem uses a consensus mechanism called Delegated Proof of Stake, or DPOS.
In the DPOS system, what are called witnesses in Steem are delegated by the collective Steem Power-weighted witness approval votes from Steem accounts.
They play a good role in steemit, so we must support them. It is my support.
Witnesses make the blockchain accessible by running web servers...production and support of value criticism is one of the witness' duties. Steem blockchain requires an arrangement of individuals to makes obstructs, the witnesses influences our post to show up on blockchain for individuals to see and all occurs in squares knowns as hubs..
The witnesses i voted for:
I have my witnesses already, trying to do little trim from how the ecosystem is affecting steemians
Great boss. Please edit to reflect those that really have success of steem in their mind. Thanks for visiting...
