It all depends. For instance games like drugwars and steemmonsters could profit from a higher value of steem. They do run their business model on USD and convert the prices of the cards or the upgrades into steem. Take for instance a booster pack at Steemmonsters does cost $2. But at the moment that is around 6.x steem. Suppose that the value of Steem has climbed to 1 Dollar. Than a booster pack would only cost 2 steem. People don't always look at the value of steem, they do see steem as just steem. So more people would be willing to invest!
So the low value of steem are maybe hindering these games in their expantion!

For the gambling games I don't think that it will matter.
Time will tell I guess!
