Rabbits

in #esteem7 years ago

Rabbits are mammals from the Leporidae family, which can be found in many parts of the earth. Rabbits multiply by a child called vivipar. Formerly, this animal is a wild animal that lives in Africa to the mainland of Europe. In its development, in 1912, rabbits were classified in Lagomorpha orders. The Order is divided into two families, namely Ochtonidae (the type of pika who is good at whistling) and Leporidae (including the type of rabbit and hare). The origin of the word rabbit comes from the Dutch language, konijntje meaning "rabbit boy". This shows that the people of the archipelago began to recognize the rabbits during the colonial period, whereas on the island of Sumatra there is a new species of Sumatran rabbits (Nesolagus netscheri) newly discovered in 1972.

Currently a number of rabbits become pets and broilers. Several types of rabbits as a broiler are also used as pets. The largest type of rabbit in the world, the Continental Giant is commonly used as broiler, but there are also those who maintain it and has officially become the largest rabbit in the world with 4 feet + 4 inches (4 inches) and weighs 3.5 stones (22, 2 kilograms).
